Athearn produced models built in China. Most likely made in the late teens or early 2020's The Kato cars made between 2012 and 2020. While there are no orignal boxes, the models will be carefully packaged for shipping in a beautiful glass-front display case. No spare parts included. The locomotive is part of Athearn's N Scale series and is a smooth and reasonably quiet running set, It is typical of Athearn and Kato craftsmanship and a great value. Custom paint work on the coaches is very good while the locomotive shows some wear and paint inconsistencies showing - see photos.
