2013 run W&R Enterprises model built by Boo-Rim Precision Co., Inc. in Korea. Box shows almost no shelf wear. Spare parts and diaphragms included (diaphragms not installed). Glazing installed. Represents car numbers 1650 through 1655, but factory painted for car number 1651. These were formerly heavyweight Pullman sleepers, rebuilt to baggage cars in 1948-1950, then converted to water baggage cars in 1950-58. These cars were designed to supplement the water supply of steam locomotives, allowing them to travel longer distances before having to stop for water. The NP, especially on the North Coast Limited, used water baggage cars in areas with lack of water, such as eastern Montana and western North Dakota. An excellent example of this harder to find model.
