1960's run PFM imported model built by Atlas/Asahi (United) in Japan. Box shows moderate shelf wear. Model is custom painted in Union Pacific and numbered 2551. Paint is good but there is some decal film showing on the tender - see photos. Finished with lenses in the lights, crew figures in the cab, and a coal load in the tender bunker. Union Pacific purchased USRA 2-8-2's during WWI. These engines in later years were used on UP branchlines in Idaho, Nevada, and Oregon by UP subsidiaries, OSL, and OWR&N. The model accurately represents UP's USRA 2-8-2's.
