1994 run OMI - Overland Models, Inc built by Ajin Precision Mfg. in Korea. Box shows almost no shelf wear, Spare parts included. This locomotive was bought by SAL in 1964 to replace the aging E-units used on the aging passenger trains. The SDP35 was basically an SD35 with a steam generator in the extended long hood. This model appears to have been test run only. It is like new in the box. A hard to find model, as only 10 of this version were imported - Very rare! A must have for the SCL modeler.
