1989 run Oriental Limited models made by Daeki in Korea. Boxes shows very minimal shelf wear with some scuffing along the edges. Spare parts included. These are very clean models. No glazing or interiors. Model plating is in very good condition. Represents a trainset originally built in 1936 by the Budd Company for the Twin Cities Zephyr. The model depicts the "Train of the Goddesses," which originally ran on the Twin Cities Zephyr route between Chicago and Minneapolis-St. Paul. In 1947 it was reassigned to run between Chicago and Lincoln, Nebraska as the "Nebraska Zephyr". The consist was pulled by a CB&Q EMD E5. It ran from 1947 until it was discontinued in 1971. A beautiful, rare set that shows virtually no signs of use.
