1985 model built by Micro Cast Mizuno in Japan. Box shows minor shelf wear. This is a 1 of 1 pilot model! Great runner and typical excellent Micro Cast Mizuno build quality. This model was built for Key imports but was never put into production. This model was pro-painted and purchased in 1985 from Mizuno-San himself!
Sold with an original American Locomotive Company builders photo, framed and matted. This is an image of the class engine #5200, as built. Framed and matted from the 1920's with and leaded glass with hanging hardware on the backside. Truly unique, and a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of history!
Note: According to the original owner, this model was hand carried from Japan by Mizuno-San and was sold at the Great Midwest Train Show in Wheaton, IL sometime in 1985. We will include a redacted copy of and email from the pervious owner who purchased this model from Mizuno-San that shares this story.
