1997 run model built by Samhongsa in Korea. Box shows minimal shelf wear but some slight scuffing. Spare parts included. Factory finished with window glazing. 250 P84 16-wheel tender (two 4-axle trucks). Initially lettered "America's Railroads" and displayed at the 1939 New York Worlds Fair, it was re-lettered for the Pennsylvania Railroad and put into service on the PRR, only operating between Chicago, IL and Crestline, OH due to its size and inability to negotiate many curves in the PRR system. it had a relatively short operating life, being scrapped in 1949. A smooth and quiet runner, this is a rare and beautiful model with amazing detail. A TCS WOW! Sound DCC power and sound decoder has been installed in this model and set to #3. It does not operate on regular DC.
