The SD9E is a unit that was rebuilt by the SP between August, 1970 and March, 1980 under the SP General Rehabilitation and Improvement Program (G.R.I.P) A harder to find model, as only 40 of this version were imported by OMI. A quiet and smooth running model that shows virtually no wear.
