2004 run Key Imports imported model built by Sam-Tech in Korea. Box shows no shelf wear. Hex-head side rod bolts. Includes spare parts and side rod wrench. Serial number 31 of 38. The Pennsylvania Railroad's class Q2 comprised one prototype and twenty-five production duplex steam locomotives of a 4-4-6-4 wheel arrangement built between 1944 and 1945. They were by far the largest non-articulated locomotives ever built and the most successful duplex type. The duplex propensity to slip was combated by an automatic slip control mechanism that reduced power to the slipping unit. Sound ready - cams ln the front and third drivers and the tender is factory drilled for speaker installation. A smooth and quiet running model, they are harder to find, as only 38 of this version were imported.
