Collias. HO Brass model scratch built by Joe G. Collias into Mopac 2-8-0 No. 1. The model started out as a Hallmark Models import built by Dong Jin in Korea. The chassis was swapped for a bullet proof PFM - United 2-8-0 with a slightly smaller open frame motor installed. Boiler was modified and heavily detailed. piping has been redone to reflect how the mallet looked in 1936. (see photos). Finally, the entire model was detailed to road number specific safety appliances and options. Included is the original Hallmark Models box that shows minimal shelf wear. No spare parts included. A one of a kind model in mint condition, showing very little evidence of use.
