The NYC received 26 RF-16's (17 A units, Nos 3804 -  3821, and 9 B units, Nos. 3700 - 3708), between 1951 and 1952, painted in the famous New York Central \"Lightning Stripe\" paint scheme. They were principally used in coal drags and heavy freight. All were retired by 1967. These came from the importer's collection and are actually two separate models combined into a single box.
